Your detailed itinerary
Welcome to India’s capital! Your guide meets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. After freshening up, begin with New Delhi’s imperial landmarks — Qutub Minar, the sweeping Rajpath, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and India Gate. In the afternoon, dive into the sensory chaos of Old Delhi: hop a cycle rickshaw through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, browse the spice markets of Khari Baoli, and visit the majestic Jama Masjid. End the evening with dinner and the dazzling Akshardham Temple sound & light show.
- Qutub Minar (UNESCO)
- India Gate & Rajpath
- Rashtrapati Bhavan
- Chandni Chowk Rickshaw Tour
- Jama Masjid
- Akshardham Temple
After breakfast, complete Delhi’s sightseeing with a visit to the iconic Red Fort (Lal Qila) — a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Shah Jahan — and the serene Lotus Temple. Stop for a refreshing Shikanji before hitting the Yamuna Expressway to Agra. Arrive by afternoon, check in, and head straight to the Taj Mahal for the most romantic hour of the day — golden-hour sunset. Watch the white marble shift from ivory to amber to rose as the sun dips. Round off the evening with a visit to the imposing Agra Fort overlooking the Yamuna.
- Red Fort / Lal Qila (UNESCO)
- Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple)
- Taj Mahal at Sunset
- Agra Fort
Rise before dawn for the trip’s most magical moment — the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The marble glows gold and blush pink in the first rays, serene and nearly crowd-free. After breakfast and check-out, drive toward Jaipur with a leisurely stop at Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s magnificent red sandstone city abandoned in 1585 after just 14 years. Explore the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, and the shrine of Salim Chishti before continuing to the Pink City. Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check into your hotel.
- Taj Mahal at Sunrise
- Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO)
- Buland Darwaza
- Panch Mahal
- Salim Chishti Shrine
A full day in the Pink City — and there’s plenty to fill it. Begin with an elephant ride up to the magnificent Amber Fort, exploring its mirror palace (Sheesh Mahal) and panoramic ramparts. Then descend into the city: photograph the honeycomb facade of Hawa Mahal, marvel at the astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar (UNESCO), and tour the opulent City Palace, still home to the royal family of Jaipur. Browse the vibrant bazaars of Johari and Bapu for gems, block-print textiles, and blue pottery. End with a lavish Rajasthani dinner and cultural folk show before your departure or overnight stay.
